Client Portal Terms
Effective date: September 27, 2026
Your licensed professional or practice invited you to CareCircle. When you claim your account, you accept these portal terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Your care agreement remains with your provider.
What the portal does
The portal may let you see appointments, exchange messages, join video visits, complete intake forms, and view documents your provider chooses to share. Features may change during beta. Your provider controls the clinical record, decides what appears here, and remains responsible for your care. CareCircle operates the technology for the provider. Contact your provider for clinical advice, record corrections, or questions about a diagnosis or treatment.
Messaging and emergencies
Messages are not monitored live. Your provider may read them only during its working hours or according to its own policy. Do not use messages or video requests for urgent help. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 9-1-1. For suicide crisis support in Canada, call or text 9-8-8. More options are on the Crisis Support page.
Your account
Use your own account, keep the sign-in codes we email you private, protect the devices that hold your passkeys, and sign out of shared devices. Tell your provider and CareCircle promptly if you think someone else accessed your account. Do not upload another person's information unless your provider has instructed you and you have the authority to do so. A parent, guardian, or substitute decision maker may use the portal only when the provider has confirmed their authority.
Privacy and leaving the portal
The Privacy Policy explains what CareCircle collects and the current US hosting. Ask your provider for access to or correction of clinical records. You can download your data or delete your account in Settings → Your data, and ask for other help through Data Safety. Deleting your account closes your portal access; it does not delete the clinical record your provider must retain.
CareCircle is a beta service offered as available. These terms do not reduce your legal privacy rights or your provider's professional responsibilities. If these terms change materially, we will show the new version before it applies where required by law.
